WHAT IS SAAT?
A Tiny Needle. A Three-Week Treatment. A Highly Individualized Approach.

Healthcare services imageSoliman Auricular Allergy Treatment, or SAAT, is a specialized form of auricular acupuncture developed for allergy-related treatment.

Your first appointment with Dr. Jeff lasts approximately 45 minutes.

Dr. Jeff begins with a consultation and evaluation, including muscle testing as part of his SAAT assessment to determine which allergens or sensitivities will be addressed.

He then places extremely small acupuncture needles at specific points in the right ear.

They're tiny—often difficult to see with the naked eye—and most, if not all, patients tolerate placement very well.

Small adhesive bandages are placed over the needles to help keep them secure.

The needles remain in place for approximately three weeks. You'll then return for a recheck, when Dr. Jeff removes the needles and reevaluates the allergens addressed during treatment. Depending on your individual response, another treatment cycle may be recommended.

TRADITIONAL ACUPUNCTURE

More Than SAAT SAAT may be one of our specialties, but Dr. Jeff's training and experience in acupuncture goes much further. Dr. Jeff holds a Diplomate in Acupuncture, an advanced credential that required significantly more education, training, and examination beyond basic acupuncture certification. This extensive training gives him a deeper understanding of traditional acupuncture and allows him to take a thoughtful, individualized approach to each patient's care. With more than 20 years in practice, Dr. Jeff uses traditional acupuncture to support patients seeking care for concerns such as pain, headaches, muscle tension, neuropathy, vertigo, stress, and overall wellness. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. We'll talk about what's bothering you, what you'd like to accomplish, and whether acupuncture may be an appropriate part of your care.
